Over the BGS's short history, members have volunteered to take on genealogy projects. Below is a sampling of members volunteer efforts:
Newspaper - Index Birth, Marriage, Death Announcements (2013-2017)
BGS volunteers indexed birth, marriage, and death information from historic Broomfield newspapers. The time period covered 1955 to 1995. The indexing involved working with microfilmed copies of the papers that are stored in the Mamie Doud Eisenhower Library. Training sessions provided volunteers how to use the microfilm reader and what information to index.
