2nd Tuesday Genealogy Group
Facilitator: Karen Yudnich (VicePresident@BroomfieldGenSoc.org)
Meets: Monthly, February – November; second Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. (virtually)
Purpose: This SIG is for those interested in using various genealogical tools or are seeking additional information on a particular genealogy topic. Topics will be decided upon by the members of the group in coordination with the Facilitator. Join us and we can all work together on common interests.
For details on upcoming meeting topics, please refer to the 2nd Tuesday Genealogy Group page.
NoCo (Northern Colorado) DNA Group (SIG)
Facilitator: Longmont Genealogical Society
For 2022 the DNA Group will study the book “Genetic Genealogy in Practice” by Blaine T. Bettinger and Debbie Parker Wayne. This Regional DNA Study Group meets virtually from 3:00 to 4:30 pm on the 2nd Wednesday of each month.
This is a Study Group, not an instructed class; therefore, we need volunteers to sign up to lead/moderate future month’s discussions! To be a moderator you do not have to be an expert! You should study the chapter, prepare a summary of the information presented, and lead the group in discussing the chapter contents and the end of chapter exercises.
If interested in this regional SIG, please see the NoCo DNA Group (SIG) page for more information and schedule.
