November Program: “Alien Registration Records”

Our genealogy meeting begins with social time for members and guests to meet and visit at 6:00 p.m. General meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. with Dick Wolfe, President, presiding. Dick will give a brief overview of our society with goals, committee reports and announcements. Then followed by tonight’s program speaker at 7:00 p.m.

Program Information:
The topic for the monthly meeting will be “Alien Registration Records” presented by Julie Miller.

Alien Registrations contain a wealth of personal information and should not be overlooked when researching immigrant ancestors. This lecture will discuss what Alien Registrations are available, information found in the records, and how to access the records.

Speaker Profile:
Julie MillerJulie Miller, holds Certified Genealogist and Certified Genealogical Speaker credentials and is a fellow of the National Genealogical Society. She is a full-time professional researcher, speaker, and writer who lives in Broomfield and was one of the founding members of the Society. Her articles have appeared in the NGSQ and NGS Magazine. Julie was the NGS interim Education Manager (2018), and is a member of the NGS conference committee. She was a volunteer at NARA-Denver for twenty-one years.
