Since its inception, BGS has provided events and programs aimed at promoting awareness of genealogical research and maintaining and promoting genealogical standards. Our speakers and instructors come from all walks of life – some are local members, some are regional speakers, some are nationally well-known – to share their expertise and experiences. Most programs and events are free and open to the public. When fees are required, the event details will specify the cost.
